Go to **Apps**![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/6d860cf7e6db968e6d04ccc881beee14.png)and select **Explore Directory**. 2. Search for **Shopify** in the App Directory, and then select **Install**. 3. A wizard will appear to walk you through the rest of the setup process. In the first step, you'll need to connect your Shopify store. You'll be directed to the Shopify App Store in a new tab where you'll continue setup. You'll be redirected to Kustomer, where you will be prompted to select your organization or enter its name. If you don't recall your organization name, you can copy this from the other Kustomer tab in the install wizard. 7. Your selected Shopify store will now be connected to Kustomer. When this is successful, you'll see a confirmation badge on your store in the wizard. On the next wizard step, you'll have the option of importing prior orders. All new orders going forward after you set up this integration will be captured in Kustomer automatically. If you have prior orders in Shopify that you want to move into Kustomer as well, follow the steps on this screen to import them. If you don't have any prior orders to import, you can continue and finish setup. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/50c886daaf82b1985ec0163235b6dfca.png) Your Shopify store is now connected to Kustomer. You can go to the Shopify settings in Kustomer anytime in **Apps**![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/ea2004f51845604ce751a7f4f9861350.png) to take further actions like adding additional stores. ### Connect additional Shopify stores Once you install the Shopify app in Kustomer, you can connect your store. 1. Go to **Apps**![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/d77b3e8985863c3f203bad5a7fa0d53a.png) and select **Shopify** in the sidebar. 2. Select **Add Store**. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/c50c8f8078a49300cc72024a05167f4c.png) 3. In the prompt that appears, select **Go to Shopify**. You'll be directed to the Shopify App Store where you will complete the setup process. 4. Enter the URL for your Shopify store and select **Log In**. 6. Log in to your selected Shopify store. 7. You will be redirected to Kustomer where you will be prompted to enter your Kustomer org's name. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/d3574d153664cad7d43d1e580482b2f3.png) 8. Select **Continue**. Your selected Shopify store is now connected to Kustomer. To add additional stores with separate Shopify accounts, sign out of your current Shopify store and repeat the steps above. If your Shopify account has multiple stores associated with it, please follow the instructions in [Connecting multiple Shopify stores](#Multiple) to finish connecting the other stores. ### Import past orders from your Shopify store After connecting your Shopify store, any future orders will automatically be routed into Kustomer. If you also have past order history in Shopify that you wish to bring over into Kustomer, these orders can be imported as well. We'll offer to import orders during initial setup, but you can also do this at any time from the Shopify app settings. **To import past orders from Shopify:** 1. Go to **Apps**![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/470b1e2e03a8dca375042a2141b16c05.png) and select **Shopify** in the sidebar. 2. Locate the desired store, then in the _Import Orders_ section, select **Import**. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/cf2fd78d1dfe02be700115ba6b64bc7f.png) 3. A modal appears which you can use to confirm the scope of your import. Select **Begin Import** to confirm. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/f7dd4bf0211476150cf8f7ea6de03c0e.png) You can check on the status of the order import process by hovering over the status badge in the Shopify settings. While the import processes, you can repeat the process and select **Import Orders** again with any other stores to add them to the import queue.  Color-coded status badges will indicate the progress of your import, as well as which stores are in the import queue or completed. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/9ef5b9dd19b104d02f04730536de0611.jpg) After queueing an import, it will continue to run in the background until it finishes. You can safely leave Kustomer or close your browser during the import process without interrupting the import. ### View Shopify orders in Kustomer Once you have completed these steps, all new orders will appear in the customer [timeline](https://help.kustomer.com/shopify-timeline-layout-ByXsQOs0L). You can also view the last 100 orders for a specific customer in the [Shopify Insight Card](https://help.kustomer.com/shopify-insight-card-B1qNbYNYI). You may experience issues viewing Shopify data in the timeline layout or insight card if you have a custom Shopify workflow enabled instead of the app-installed workflow. If this occurs: 1. Go to **Settings![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/948818152eb7d6d8acefd9d4a3622cfb.png)****\> Platform > Workflows**. 2. Find the custom workflow and turn off its toggle to deactivate it. 3. Select the **App Created** tab. 4. Turn on the toggle for the `shopify-order-sync` workflow. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/b6861d8af0dea44d752a83a36acc5106.png) You should now be able to view Shopify data correctly in these views.  **Note:** After integrating, data will only sync from Shopify when an update to an order has been made. If you wish to continue using your custom workflow, please contact us at [support@kustomer.com](mailto:support@kustomer.com). ### Delete a Shopify store from Kustomer In the Shopify app settings, you can remove a store from your Kustomer configuration at any time. 1. Go to **Apps**![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/d186bb5ab7e0829baf2371aa455c896c.png) and select **Shopify** in the sidebar. 2. Select the menu icon and select **Disconnect store**. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/de70b1d46725151fb2a4ff7d335e45b5.png) ### Connecting multiple Shopify stores Connecting your Shopify account will add the primary store associated with that account. If your Shopify account has multiple stores associated with it, here's how you'll connect those additional stores. 1. Log in to the Shopify website, and switch to the store you wish to connect. 2. Select **Apps** in the left sidebar, then select the **Customize your Store** button at the top-right. Search for **Kustomer** from the App Store and select it from the list of results. 4. Select **Add app** to install. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/146bea10c6ec17a5ae70cf9e14738432.png) 5. Confirm you want to connect the store to Kustomer. This will navigate you back to the Kustomer site. 6. Choose the Kustomer organization you want to connect to. (Most organizations only have option to select.) 7. Kustomer will open to the _Shopify_ page in our App Directory, and you should a notification at the bottom of the screen acknowledging the account was added. ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/570fad9d9001bc1000163b28/2c99a928cf1b3c2ec839b75718ae1905.png) 8. Repeat this process for any additional stores associated with your Shopify account.
