The reference table below lists the display names, system names, data type, and descriptions for the Message standard Klass attributes available in the Kustomer platform.

You can use the system names for these standard attributes to customize shortcuts, email templates, and other Kustomer features that require the system name for attributes. Additionally, you can use the display name when building a Kustomer custom report in the second step of the chart editor.

Display name	System name	Data type	Description
App	app	String	Application origin of this message (chat, Gmail, form, etc.).
Assigned Teams	assignedTeams	String	Name of the team(s) assigned to the conversation this message is a part of.
Assigned Users	assignedUsers	String	Name of the user(s) assigned to the conversation this message is a part of.
Auto	auto	Boolean	If the message was automatically generated.
Channel	channel	String	Channel of this message.
Created At	createdAt	Date	Date/time this message was created.
Created By Teams	createdByTeams	String	ID(s) of the assigned team(s) of the user who created this message.
Direction	direction	String	Message direction (can either be "in" or "out").
Direction Type	directionType	String	Specific direction "type" of this message. There are 6 direction types: Initial In (initial inbound message) Initial Out (initial outbound message) Response In (inbound response to an outbound message) Response Out (outbound response to an inbound customer message) Followup In (follow-up inbound message from a customer when their previous message is not yet replied to) Followup Out (follow-up outbound message after a user's previous message is not yet replied to by the customer).
External ID	externalId	String	Third part application ID for this message.
First Company	firstCompany	String	Related company upon creation of this message.
Headers	meta	Array	An array of meta-data associated with this message.
Modified At	modifiedAt	Sate	Date/time this message was last modified.
Preview	preview	String	Preview of the body content for this message.
Redacted	redacted	Boolean	If this message was redacted.
Sent At	sentAt	Date	Date/time this message was sent.
Size	size	Number	Total size of this message, including attachments.
Status	status	String	Current status of this message.
Subject	subject	String	Subject line, or initial body content of this message.
Updated At	updatedAt	Date	Date/time this message was last updated.
