Kustomer Architect includes a built-in conversion tool that simplifies the migration from AI for Customers 1.0 teams to Concierge automations. Rather than rebuilding your configuration from scratch, the tool analyzes your existing AI for Customers 1.0 setup and automatically carries over key settings to a new Concierge automation.

## **Accessing the Conversion Tool**

To access the conversion tool:

1. From the left navigation panel, click **Kustomer AI.**
2. Click **Add Automation**.
3. **When adding an automation to Concierge,** the tool is available as an option during the automation setup flow.

## **Using the Conversion Tool**

When launched, the conversion tool inventories all of your existing AI for Customers 1.0 teams and presents them in a table. Each row displays:

**Column**

**Description**

**Team Name**

The name of the AI for Customers 1.0 team

**Description**

The team description, if one has been configured

**Agent Count**

The number of agents assigned to the team

Review the list and select the team you want to convert. The Architect agent will confirm your selection before beginning the conversion process.

## **What Gets Converted**

With a team selected, Architect analyzes the following configurations and maps them to their Concierge equivalents:

* **Procedures** – Existing step-by-step workflows and operational instructions
* **Tone** – Communication style settings defined for the team
* **Custom guidance** – Tailored rules or instructions configured for the team
* **Guardrails** – Behavioral restrictions and safety boundaries applied to the team

All configurations related to these areas undergo the conversion process. Architect may periodically halt this operation to ask how a particular operation should be converted.

## **Technical Considerations**

* **One team per session**: The conversion tool processes a single AI for Customers 1.0 team at a time. If you have multiple teams to migrate, you will need to run the tool separately for each one.
* **Review after conversion**: The tool transfers core configurations, but it is strongly recommended to review the resulting Concierge automation afterward. Confirm that all settings transferred as expected, and make any adjustments needed before activating the automation.
* **Original team is preserved**: Running the conversion does not delete or modify the source AI for Customers 1.0 team. You can continue to reference or use the original team after the process completes.
* **Behavioral differences between platforms**: Concierge operates differently from AI for Customers 1.0 in some respects. Configurations are converted to their closest functional equivalent, but certain nuances of your original setup may not translate directly and could require manual refinement post-conversion.
* **Partial configurations**: Teams with incomplete or minimal configurations (for example, no description or no defined procedures) will still convert, but the resulting Concierge automation may require more manual buildout to reach full functionality.

**Tip:** Try using Kustomer Architect to analyze the state of your automation once converted. The tool can highlight missing core configurations, or suggest improvements to settings that are specific to Concierge.
