Adding Custom Fields

Custom Fields can be applied while viewing a Customer or a Conversation. These additions will be specific and visible on all Conversations or Customers.

 

 

Add Custom Field to Customer

Within the Customer Details panel- clicking the pencil will bring up the edit panel.

Within the edit panel, clicking ‘Add property’ will allow you to set a custom property that will be visible on all customers, and a value that is visible only on the current customer.

Select the property you would like to add.

For this example, I’ve clicked ‘Single Line Text’

Clicking Add will make this new property visible on all customers.

The new property can then be viewed and set via the ‘Customer Details’ panel:

Add Custom Field to Conversation

Within the Conversations Details panel- clicking the pencil will bring up the edit panel.

Within the edit panel, click ‘add property’

Select the desired field type:

Name your property, and then click add:

Before clicking Save, enter values for current conversation. Properties will not save unless values are provided.

Newly added conversation properties will now be available (with empty properties available on other conversations).
